Brother of Bianca Devins’ alleged murderer apologizes on behalf of family – New York Post

The brother of the upstate man accused of killing his social media influencer girlfriend over the weekend apologized for his sibling’s alleged murderous rampage.

“I’m deeply sorry something like this came from my family and my heart goes out for the family of the victim,” James Ward wrote in a Monday Instagram post.

Ward’s brother, Brandon Andrew Clark, 21, allegedly slit the throat of his girlfriend Bianca Devins, 17, in Utica and posted a gruesome photo of her lifeless body to Instagram early Sunday.

When police swarmed the scene, Clark allegedly cut his own throat and posted a photo of his bloody neck to Instagram, authorities said.

The violence unfolded when the couple — who’ve been dating for about 2 months — returned upstate after getting into an argument at a concert in Queens on Saturday night, police said.

Ward identifies himself as a member of the US Air Force on his Instagram account. He tried to distance himself from his brother’s alleged actions, which he called “disgusting.”

“Nothing better than waking up at 4am to find out your brother killed someone and tried to kill himself, and when you’re trying to understand and comprehend how the person you looked up to, and taught you so much is responsible for such a horrible act, and people proceed to go out and blame you for what he did,” read part of the post.

“So here I am stationed in Alaska for military service wanting nothing more than to wake up and be back home hoping this is some sick twisted nightmare, instead I’m all the way across the country.”

Clark on Monday night was charged with second-degree murder. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years behind bars.
