The United States Capitol was locked down on Friday after a knifewielding suspect rammed into the North Barricade, leaving a Capitol Police officer and the suspect dead and another officer injured.
At least one of the officers had been stabbed, sources told Fox News.
US Capitol Police have identified the slain officer as William “Billy” Evans, an 18-year veteran of the force.

The suspect was identified as Noah Green, 25, from Indiana, who has ties to Virginia, sources tell Fox News.
And a law enforcement source said he identifies himself as a Nation of Islam follower on Facebook who may have recently lost his job.
Posts on his now-removed Facebook account praised Louis Farrakhan and indicate he donated more than $1,000 to the NOI this year.
